Ethereum is the second-generation blockchain and cryptocurrency. It is also the second most valuable cryptocurrency in the world. Ethereum is the most important counterfeit currency. Bitcoin is a source of value, while Ethereum is more like a decentralized online platform where thousands of cryptocurrency types are created using smart contracts. The market value of Ethereum is about one-third of Bitcoin. Ethereum is the second cryptocurrency in the United States to obtain CME futures contracts, which occurred in February 2022.
